today is another pissed day.. haiz... treasure chest is making me slightly insane and exhausted..
and national day rehearsals are so confusing that i was sooo mentally tired after the rehearsal.. i had the impluse to let go of everything, but then i remember that the treasure chest is due tml so... haiz.. why do we blame others when we ourselves arent willing to help ourselves? i am really very confused.. my mind is in a tornado now..
nevertheless, J cheered my up during recess with her cookies=) thanks J!! haha.. and i noe u will make more for us de rite?? haha... seriously it tasted very choco and sweet la! so much better than canteen food..lol


tml i will die of confusion and exhaustion.. may god bless me, and i hope that all these stuff end soon...

very tired now.. jus came back from newswriting competition held at Innova JC..
Innova JC is really very beautiful.. and the building is really of a high-class.. i dunno how to explain it but when i enter the school, it gives me a feeling as if i entered a mini-university.. haha..
the workshop was really crappy.. sorry to say that but it was really boring.. i had totally no interest in wat the trainer was toking about..
after a lunch break, me and shi min went for the forum with Mr Vivian Balakrishnan, minister of development, youth and sports=)
took down many notes during the forum.. however, i enjoyed the forum as the content was interesting la.. the topic was 'youth and volunteerism; importance of building a inclusive society'
there was a QnA session, and quite a few brave souls went up to question the minister..managed to see some ppl with very good english and they expressed themselves very well!! omg i will neva be able to do that de.. however, i could sense that some of them went up to ask questions for the SAKE of asking questions only.. some of the things they did were to repeat questions and stood there and think for a very long time...
after the forum ended, we had a small break before we proceeded to the hall for the competition.. okay the air-con in the hall was sooo cold la!! and i struggled with many simple chinese words la! all thanks to shimin who chinese so pro.. haha.. if not for her i guess there will be no report to pass up le.. haha..
stupid competition ended around 6pm then we went to causeway point to eat and walk for a while.. after that we went hm straight liaoz lo..


let me do a simple comparison with a fellow mjc malay group that also participated:

1. their teacher treat them to breakfast but we don have

2. their teacher brought them to IJC with her car but we took mrt and bus

3. their teacher prepare laptop for them then we don have

what a tiring day! managed to complete parts of the treasure chest which is going to be used during closing ceremony de.. however, i forgot to take photos of it! haha.. will post them next time lo=)

SESSION 3 over! today i went to help out in the games.. however, i did not stay long today cause my mom had a serious headache so i went hm early to help her after the games lo..
btw, i did something that i seldom do today lo, which made me quite troubled for the whole day.. but then J tell me that its not my fault, so i guess i gotta forgive myself...

Last but not Least, i wanna thank J for waiting at the library for me today kie!! and also sorry for not appearing due to the stupid australian maths competition.. HAPPY?? haha... arigato!!

i am a happy boy today=)
THANKS J!! loved the choco u gave me=) and i was quite shocked too.. cause it took a while for me to link it to the conver we had yesterday on MSN.. so, the chocolate really made my day la! soo touched... haha
after PE, changed back into uniform and went to LT4 for the cultural talk rehearsal thingy..
Ze Long shocked me with his efficiency la! haha.. he was given the task to source for 4 A4 paper boxes by thursday, and he immediately brought 3 of them in front of me in less than 1 hr la! haha.. happy to see that.. it shows that ze long can be capable de! really wanna thank him alot for his help..

today's chinese period, which was the last two periods from 2.35 to 5.05, our class went on a field trip to a japanese graveyard at Yio Chu Kang=) the cemetery was quite interesting due to its funny looking stone tablets and graves.. and, the scenery was beautiful too! although the size of the cemetery was small, there were many colorful flowers springing out from many places in the cemetery.. and, there is this pathway where there are arcs over the path with many flowers on it, which is very nice de la!


so, generally i enjoyed my field trip today=) however, we had to find our own transport home.. wonder why the school so budget, cannot give us transport back to school!

after reaching school, went to help session 3 in their games and discuss on the closing ceremony stuff for RnR.. not much completed though, just that ze long managed to finish doing the notice board=) happy for him la! haha.. and the notice board is nicely done.. gd job ze long! haha..

as usual, school ended early today=) haha.. i always cant wait for school to end lo!
after classes, went to canteen to meet up with jiemeis and ze long to go do the notice board=)
painstakingly cut out the words 'ZHONG WEN SHUI HUI' from the styrofoam board la! its backbreaking work since i stood up doing it so as to do a nice job=)

from wat i heard, RnR session3 dry run was quite successful.. partly because satay did not understand a word when listening to session3 ppl dry running.. lol

turned out that there were some misunderstandings between national day committee members and the advisors.. and it was saddening de la.. when everyone is so fustrated and tired, problems arise one after another... its really very taxing to everyones body and minds la! national day is just around the corner; and honestly saying to planning committee, at least of wat i noe, i believe that me, shi en and siew li is willing to do anything that u all wan us to do, including frontstage or backstage work de.. so its best that we preserve that flexibility that u ppl have in planning for the skid, rather then deciding to let us sing first and limit ur scope in the process.. hope u ppl understand kie.. pls tell us when u all need help, and hope that we can buck up together since the actual performance is less than 1 month away=(

after completing much of the notice board, we went to cca room to put cca stuffs back into the cupboard.. unsurpirsingly, we realised that there was school concert happening in the hall, and i cant believe wat i was hearing la! ha ha.. to me, it was noise.. jus tat the last song was still listenable.. haha!
out of nothing, i asked siew li and shi en; 'What Thing?'
and they replied in unison; " THAT Stupid Thing!!"
waa i laughed like hell de la! so funny..

after that we went hm as usual.. bought our xiaolian gang badges le.. hehe..

18-07-07 acapella

today was RnR session two.. went to have a look and see where can help lo... haha.. the same old kids as session 1=) today they seem to be more Guai la! haha..
however, did not help much today.. did some paper cutting and the repair of the flags.. session 2 ended very fast and the session leaders went for the @#$% AAR... lucky i neva go la!! sure sleep de...
after AAR, EXCO members had their small meeting and me and jiemei stayed back to think of gd songs.. if we were to get to perform for national day, we will be putting up a few songs la.. haha..
stayed back till 9.30 pm where the security guard came to warn us of the closing of the lights.. then, we went hm liaozz.... haha..

had classes today till 5.05 pm.. its damn late de la!! haiz... but, the last chemistry period was quite fun as we had a damn good time joking about how Rosalind reprimands us.. lol!
after classes, went to library to find jiemeis who are doing RnR stuff..

Ahem gave us a treat on cakes and nuggets after the RnR dry run, and the cake was very nice!! haha.. greedy me.. thanks Ahem anyway!

today was the release of my audition results.. hmm.. i neva get in.. however, quite sad for my band members who also did not get in, as the concert organisers gave priority to MJC bands, and my frens are not from MJC.. mm.. they are a rocking good band la! it really felt good to be part of them for a short period of time=) although we did not get in, u all mus not dis-band kie! haha.. a minor setback is not enough to bring the downfall of such a gd band de! jia you!!

after the sad news, went hm with jiemeis as usual.. but my mood not affected by the results lo=) haha..

so many setbacks to date.. doesnt affect me at all... no one can dampen my passion de!! haha.. however, this is not my ambition.. toking about my ambition, i really hope to be a JC teacher in future when i grow up lo! haha.. not much of a career connected with music.. so, i will continue to improve my instrument de=) lol

14-07-07 auditions in school

Today i went back to school to take part in the auditions for our schools concert..
ok i guess i was the first to be auditioned, but then, i messed up my whole song! haizz...
firstly, my minus one's volume was too low, then secondly, i was too nervous!
however, my frens band did quite well, and we received gd comments from the judges=)
so, i feel that there are high chances for me to enter the concert with the band, and not solo..

haha.. i am still left with so much homework to do!! urgh...

hope the good or bad news comes quickly........

11-07-07 RnR first session

We had our first Read & Reach session in the library today...
haha.. the children that attended our session today were quite cute! At first i thought they will be those super naughty type de, but most of them are not la.. but there will sure be exceptions..
really had a good time laughing during the opening ceremony la! keke.. i was wearing my indian costume for a skid lata and a went down to first floor library, and shi en gave me a popper to pop when our cute vice-principal announced the start of our programme.. lol
there were clowns that entertained the kids but i did not manage to watch their performances.. sigh.. and, they were holding this super-big Poppers that was for Mr Tan to pop..
soon, they started to count down to the opening ceremony... 5,4,3,2,1.. POP POP!! lols.. the vice-principal POPed a hole on the ceiling!! WAHAHAs

i guess he aimed the big popper at the ceiling, and the popper was too strong, and parts of the ceiling fell to the ground! i just couldnt stop laughing la.. at first i tot what happened, cause there was quite alot of smoke everywhere, then i saw that big hole in the ceiling, and the stunned and angry faces of the librarians behind the counter, followed by the dropping of the ceiling onto the floor, then i realised what happened! haha

after laughing, we brought the kids to the second floor, where the sessions will be held.. ok i gotta say that the girls in our session are very gd except for a couple of them who were quite rebellious and witty.. the guys... hm... no comments...

we started out by introducing the session leaders to them, followed by the skid that we put up for the kids.. ok the skid was badly done. ppl who saw the skid would know it, and i was quite disappointed with it.. haiz.. told ahem to practice narrating the story a few mor times, and he said that it will be easy for him.. But, for the actual performance, he did not manage to narrate the paragraphs in the right way and right timing.. and, he was simply too soft and fast, such that the kids cannot hear what he said exactly.. i performed my character badly, as i have no idea how to express some of the feelings that a filial person should have..

after the performance, we realised that the kids only managed to grab hold of the key concepts we are trying to convey, which is filial piety, but, when it comes to the the details of the skid that showed filial piety, none could tell us.. this really reflected that our skid was a failure.. i have no one to blame but myself.. but, i have learned from this mistake, so i will do better next time de=) thousand apologies to all session 1 ppl!

Common Games followed, and we brought the kids for a tea break before sending them to the atrium for the games.. personally, i feel that the games were quite well recieved from the kids, as some of them even wanted to play once more.. haha.. the kids from different races interacted quite well for my group, and they managed to cooperate with each other for the games.. participants are divided into groups of three different races, and they have to guide each other through out a simple obstacle course that requires team work to finish..

after the common games, the kids were sent back to the library where they decorate pieces of colorful papers with pictures and words that they want to express to their parents=) saw some very gd pieces, and some not very gd ones.. so, we decided to award those who drew very well with tokens we prepared.. hope they like it lo! keke.. after filling up the reflection cards and pasting them on a vanguard sheet, they were given reading cards where they record down the chinese books they read during the week before the 2nd session.. then, the cheeky kids called upon our ccs couples, revvo and yiming to dance lo! haha.. cant stop laughing.. see revvo so paiseh to dance, but he still manage to dance abit of the chicken dance, which was quite nice! haha.. applause for revvo!

however, the day ended disgustingly.. after the kids left, we had to attend After Action Review.. we were expected to give our views and suggestions about session 1 lo.. one of the teachers say that we were not energetic and we were like falling asleep at that time(6.30pm) and she compares herself with us, saying that she is SO energetic! lols.. it wouldnt be fair for ppl like jasmine, Ze long who spent alot of time preparing the session, attending to the kids, had endless late nights just because of the session.. how can she say that? haiz... didnt rebutt her as she is our teacher afterall.. in fact i should give her some 'face', since she is still not bad a teacher afterall, compared to some other teacher in-charges that did not do much to help us..

after AAR, we returned all the stuff back to the CCS cupboard and left for hm.. lols.. at last session 1 is OVER!

however, there comes national day and newswriting competition that awaits me! and also helping out other sessions of course! haha



my mom says that i will confirm get a U for econs since she saw that i didnt even open the econs file to study at all lo.. then i macham kenna suaned de.. then got back my results and i got a Sub-pass! haha.. although its not a pass, its not a U either! and, my mom replied my msg saying i am a miracle boy.. keke.. so happy... wonder how i did tat? there must have been some essence of tychoism that brought me such unexpected results.. thanks god!

10-07-07 RnR Deco

Today was a long day lo! ended classes at 5.05, with PE as the last period.. my class played floor ball, and we were divided into two groups.. as i picked up the floorball stick, it kinda brought back many memories of PE lessons in TPJC lo.. haiz.. felt a bit emo at first, but then, i start to chiong liaoz! haha.. not i wanna hao lian kie, but i scored the first goal! haha..
PE ended late, and i went to change to my uniform before going to help jiemeis to do decorations for RnR...
lols.. did not accomplish much today lo.. only managed to shift the tables, put up the pink cloth, and we rolled up the stupid blue cloth which was sooooo long! lols..
left school library at 7.30pm, from the 2nd floor door(first time in my life! haha) and i saw meishan's fren, who is in ICS=) lols.. so qiao3 de...
after returning all the stuff to the pathetic CCS cupboard, we went to LT2 there where the girls wanted to take pic.. saw Kok ann studying with a girl at the study benches, and he kindly helped us to take a group photo..

got back my GP full paper le.. total is 53/100.. ok i think tat is not bad.. a D at least=) left with my Econs paper, which i did not study for AT ALL.. haha.. cant wait to see how horrible it is.. keke.. if not my jiemeis keep saying i don have U then not ON de.. haha

08-07-07 Sharon's competition day

Went to Bishan today to give Screamer support for her competition=) we reached at around 12pm, and we waited in Guang Yang primary school where the competition is held..
seriously, i did not noe exactly wat the competition was all about; all i saw in the hall was some hospital beds and a few other furnitures(wonder if those were part of the competition! lol)

Zhen Zi arrived at around 2.30pm, then we waited together for sharon to appear.. Then, me and Ong became so lame and we kept calling sharons phone although we noe that she cant pick up the call, cause we kinda wanted her to get shocked when she sees the 50+ missed calls on her phone.. keke!

Soon, the sky became dark, and we went to the benches with umbrellas to continue waiting for screamer.. the rain soon poured on the umbrella above our heads, and the weather was damn cooling lo! felt like sleeping..

saw Constance in the primary sch today.. so coincident! haha.. she was also in SJAB, so shes there for the competition too=)

PS: cant stand the smell of the toilet there!! the floor was so wet and the toilet bowls were so..so..so.. disgusting!! haizz.... primary sch standards.. primary sch boys also to be blamed for there bad aiming..

at around 6.50pm, screamer came out le, and she was sad, crying... she must have been disappointed with the competition results.. she has to leave with her SJAB mates, so, we went hm ourselves.. we don blame u kie! haha.. we understand ur condition de.. as long as u appreciate our support for u then enough le=)

in order to pacify our desperate stomachs, we went to junction 8's pastamania to eat pasta(duh)after dinner, went hm via MRT.. TML IS SCHOOL!! haha.. RnR dry run again.. will it be a disaster again tml? oh god.. pls bless us!

06-07-07 RnR dry run

okie... today was tiring lo.. as expected, my Read & Reach session went haywired.. BUT, we settled the skid and song today=) haha..

today was a fruitful day=) i did some things that made me reassure my beliefs, which are:
1. nothing is impossible if u have the determination
2. happiness can be found in the smallest things u do
guess wat i did?? lols.. i untied and untangled the fake firecrackers(which seemed impossible to untie.. some guys even proposed to cut the strings.. haha!) and, because of this, i was in such a happy mood today=)
