today is the last day of 2008

i want to put up something on my blog today

i want to treasure my favorite year

2008 is a special year for me

i did so many wonderful things

i was in a chinese drama public performance

i took part in national drama competition

i took my a levels

i found so many good frens in class and cca

i thank god for letting me enter mjc

if not, none of such things might have happened

2007 might have been a more interesting year

but 2008 is an unforgettable one

cause 2009 will be a stupid one
haha

i'll be spending the next two years in ns

i hope it will turn out fun and useful as well

god sometimes seem to be mean, to take away stuffs when u are just starting to enjoy them

but u will never know

god has ur back

its wierd to be unwilling to let the year pass

as if i had the ability to stop time

but life's like tat

we have to be open to changes

today, i want to treasure my feelings

i want to remember my last day in 2008

and i can remind myself in future

when i am slogging away for the sake of money

that i ever had a wonderful time

and thats really enough

fireworks is my favorite way to step into the new year

hope our class gathering later will be fun

for i will do everything i can do to keep a good friend.

Went to support TinJun in his TheatreSport Competition on friday=)

met up with siewli, yongsheng, Cheryl, to watch the competition. Liu laoshi also there!
Tinjun was great, especially in his last item which caused his team to attain the champions.
however, the emcee blurblur de.. which made the show very draggy, and little boring haha

went orchard to walk-walk yesterday. walked from 4pm to 9pm lolx. Cant find STAGE Hyaline of the world! but nvm, its still fun=) realli enjoy walking without destination, just to window shop and look around. haha

today is a day that i will lock myself at home. been going out nearly everyday for the past few weeks, today i will rest. Douglas is enlisting today, really hope that he will enjoy himself.

yo yesterday night went to meet up with my BJDH friends!!

its been long time since i saw these peeps together, so rare man=)

actually i was supposed to be not able to make it for the meeting, but in the end i found some time to join them later in the night. too bad it was stil got complete, only 7 ppl made it. our dear oscar wasnt there. i would feel bad to be assuming that he is busy painting lol. inside joke.

yesterday was fun. cycled alot, tok alot, watch alot, laugh alot.

haha don say too much. but i have the habit of blogging the fun i had.

TSC sounds like a fun club to join. too bad its a girls-only club. unless they include female elements into it haha

Fruit Tart Day!

Met the peeps at East Point NTUC and we went shopping for fruits, flour, butter and eggs.
When all ingredients are bought, we proceed to YZ hse to make the Tarts=)

First we started preparing the mustard, where ZG have to stand beside the pot for a long time to stir the mixture in the pot while its cooking
HC was busy cutting and preparing the longans,kiwi and mango
CY melting the butter
Me washing plates(lol nothing else to do)

Then it came to the fun part, HC and me started to prepare the dough needed for the crust.
Everything was placed into the fridge to cool, and we started to play some majong lol

after around 45mins, we stopped majong and started to place the dough into the mould. we baked the crust and placed the custard into the crust, adding fruits on the top. SL and YZ did the agar agar and we added it on top of the almost-ready tarts. and the last step will be to place it into the fridge to cool it!

went to the living room to watch Alien Vs Predator. watched it soo many times, but still nice lol
SOON, the tarts were ready to eat!

Its realli the nicest pastry i have ever done in my life. its crisp, but doesnt fall apart easily. its sweetness is just nice. together with the fruits and agar agar, its HEAVENLY.

tarts alone are not going to satisfy our stomachs, hence we went down for dinner before going home. making tarts are realli fun. =)

Wooooo! Went out with 07s201 ppl to Seoul Garden to have SUPER dinner haha

Met at bedok Mrt Platform and we made our way to orchard Taka, then we realise Taka's Seoul Garden is fully booked=(

We then took a bus to Marina Square's Seoul Garden Outlet, since its the nearest branch.
Douglas will meet us at Marina, so me and edwin went to find Douglas when we reach the place. Through the phone Douglas told me that he is at 7eleven and starbucks, so me and edwin went all around the mall to find him, since there are 2 starbucks in marina square. BUT we cant find him for goodness sake! he says he is in toilet near a bank, and we went into the toilet to find him but he is not in there! that REALLI freaked me and edwin out. i even shouted his name in the guys toilet. ppl using the urinals turned back to stare at me lol
THEN, douglas picked up my call AT LAST. and he says he is at basement. THAT even freaked me and Edwin MORE! cause, marina square dont have Basement! LOL
and Guess wat? Douglas was actually at citylink mall. hahaha
Douglas realli dont know Marina Square.

The Dinner at Seoul Garden was SUPERB! haha all the chicken and beef and soup and LALA is BAGUS! free flow of drinks and ICE CREAM was also very shuang. we at from 5pm to 9pm, and left the restaurant.

We decided to go YZ hse to have overnight Majong session and play games after the dinner. The MRT trip to Simei could have been quite uneventful, chatting and laughing. But it wasnt.
while everyone was standing near the entrance of the mrt cabin, chatting and discussing wat we are going to do later, i noticed YZ toking to Douglas. YZ was asking him some random questions which i didnt exactly hear. but i noticed douglas' reply was wierd. he never reply's like tat. when i looked at his face, his lips was white, near purple. i knew something was wrong. As i walked over to him, he suddenly went very wobbly and fall towards me. I immediately grabbed him. I could feel that he was knocked out, very heavy. he had fainted in my arms. i guess all of us were stunned. I believe his poor blood circulation had caused his faint. went we reached simei mrt, he felt better already, and we let him drink some water while we walked to YZ hse.

Soon he was feeling fine, playing monopoly liao haha
as they played majong, me YZ and MY started to sing Karaoke lol. YZ has all the oldies ktv songs which i like alot haha, and we sang like siao. I realise that i have a similar taste of songs with YZ's mother in songs haha. Miao Ying's voice was quite nice=) Too bad YZ dont want to sing to the microphone. but when she sat beside me singing, i can hear her voice. Its a pity that she dont know she has a NICE voice which i like alot. haha lets go to KBox oneday!

when it started to be late, we quieten down cause we seem to be disturbing YZ's sister's sleep. We sang until we were very tired, and i started to cool down in a corner of YZ's hse. since i didnt like to play monopoly, i didnt join them, and started to stone. toked to YZ about many stuffs, very fun haha. after taking a short nap, i had to leave earlier to go home to help my dad open his stall.

Realii hope we guys can come out again to have great dinners in great locations! and overnight majong too haha. very fun=)

btw guys, can we give a name to our gang?
Jason, Shuli, Douglas, Huacai, Zhiguan, Yingzhen, Edwin, asher rachel miaoying
and the others who went out lesss with us.

Lets call ourselves........ WAT? cant think of a name!
